UFC star Kevin Lee in HEATED sparring session at Mayweather’s gym
UFC’s Kevin Lee is coming off of the biggest fight of his life this past weekend at UFC 216 and though he came up short against opponent, Tony Ferguson, the sky is still the limit for Lee who is still only 25-years-old.
In this video, we see the young UFC star, Kevin Lee, getting in some hard sparring at Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s gym and as you can see, it gets pretty heated.
Kevin Lee’s sparring partner in this video is boxer Christian Thomas and we can see in the video below that Lee looks to toss him to the ground for some reason. Thomas obviously didn’t take too kindly to the gesture and tee’d on off Lee after springing back to his feet like a ninja.
To Lee’s credit, he took the shots well and returned fire. You can see the full sparring footage below.
Lee was brought in by Floyd Mayweather to help him prepare for the Conor McGregor fight as an MMA fighter would give him a better idea of what to expect. It obviously ended up being the right decision and was probably a great experience for Lee as well to be able to train with such a high-level boxer like Floyd Mayweather.
