Wolverine’s Hugh Jackman trains with Sugar Ray Leonard
Throughout the last 17 years Hollywood star Hugh Jackman had graced the screen as the adrenaline fueled mutant Wolverine in the X-Men franchise, with his latest film ‘Logan’ looking to be his last outing in the role.
As you may have guessed playing such a role takes a tremendous amount of physical training and strict dieting to help bring the Wolverine character to life on the screen.
In the following video for Men’s Fitness magazine Hugh Jackman goes through his regular workout routine, how he manages his diet, while also getting the chance to train with the legendary Sugar Ray Leonard.
Aside from just hitting the focus mitts and heavy bag, Hugh also reveals the insight he received from Leonard of what it takes to be a world champion boxer which Hugh says he channeled for his role in the film ‘Real Steel’ where he played a former boxer.
