The head kick is one of the most iconic strikes in all of the martial arts given its brutality and flashiness perfectly packaged together. But have you ever seen someone perform a head kick on themselves, if not we have you covered.

Back in 2009 on the Chinese variety show Zheng Da Zong Yi a young kung fu prodigy attempted to break the world record for the most kicks on themselves within one minute. At the time the current record to beat was 77 which was held by Cody Warden of the United States.

The rules were simple, he had one to minute to land as many kicks as he possibly could onto his own with whatever kicking technique he preferred (in this instance he uses a crescent kick), with the footage being reviewed after the fact by an official from Guinness World Records to count the kicks that landed and make an official score.

Will he be able to break the record and make history for himself, watch on below.

The book itself holds a world record, as the best-selling copyrighted book of all time. As of the 2016 edition, it is now in its 62nd year of publication. The international franchise has extended beyond print to include television series and museums. [source: wiki]
