Jones wrestling with big brother
Jon Jones may be the most dominant lightheavyweight in the history of the UFC and one of the pound for pound greats, but he is also the youngest of three brothers. And his older brothers are just bigger and older, they are professional football players.
In this old clip, Jones and his brothers are enjoying a nice day by the pool when Jones and brother Arthur decide to toss their other brother in the pool. The brother is not match for Jon and Arthur and in the pool he goes.
Then Jon makes a big mistake. He tries to sneak attack his big brother Arthur and push him in the pool. Arthur is of course an NFL linemen and the sneak attack doesn’t work. Now Jon is forced into a wrestling match his big brother. Although he is a former collegiate wrestler and UFC champion, his big brother is of course a formidable opponent and has the mental edge only a big brother can have.
About Jon Jones
Title Shot After his UFC 126 win, while still inside the Octagon, Jones was offered the chance to step in for injured teammate Rashad Evans to face light heavyweight champ “Shogun” Rua on six weeks’ notice. Jones accepted and went on to dominate Rua as well as his subsequent opponents: “Rampage” Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans and Vitor Belfort.
King Among Kings Just 23 years old when he defeated Shogun, Jones became the UFC’s youngest-ever world champion. Jones has successfully defended his light heavyweight title in a division-record eight consecutive fights. He’s also finished nine opponents by either knockout or submission, passing Chuck Liddell for most finishes in light heavyweight history.
