Jorge Filho lands amazing spin kick knockout of Claudio Cezario

Although the UFC is the world’s premiere organization, there are awesome fights happening all over the globe on any given weekend. The UFC also is the organization that everyone one strives to get to one day.

Jungle Fight, pioneered by the legendary Wallid Ismail, is one of Brazil’s top promotions and began promoting events in 2003. The promotion has held eighty three events to date featuring some of Brazil’s top talent. This past weekend the promotion held their latest event at the Sede do Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In one of the featured bouts, 5-1 welterweight Jorge Filho squared off with 8-4 Claudio Cezario and landed this awesome flush spin kick to win the fight.

Jungle Fight was founded by pioneering MMA fighter and long-time Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, Wallid Ismail. The organization was created in 2003 and its first event was in Manaus, Amazonas. In 2006 there was an event in Slovenia, the first and so far only, Jungle Fight event held outside of Brazil. No events were held in 2007, but in 2008 it began to hold a series of events in Rio de Janeiro.
