16 vicious haymakers in 9 seconds! You HAVE to see this

Saturday, September 09, 2017

It has long been said that boxing is dead.  There is some truth to that and if it is not, in fact, dead, then it is definitely dying.  I challenge you to quickly and off the top of your head, name a single professional boxer you know. Go.

My guess is you drew a blank.  If you didn’t draw a blank you probably named a boxer that you KNOW OF.  Those don’t count.  If you do happen to know a professional boxer, like I do, my guess is that you only know a single one, like myself.  Furthermore, can you name a boxing gym? Not a martial arts facility or BJJ school or MMA school that teaches boxing but a boxing gym?

My point exactly.  So how can this issue of disinterest be addressed? Well, that, my friends, is an article in and of itself but we can start by introducing you to this man, Chris Eubank Jr.

Chris Eubank Jr. is a British professional boxer. He has held the IBO super-middleweight title since February 2017, having previously held the WBA interim and British middleweight titles between 2015 and 2016. As of July 2017, Eubank Jr. is ranked as the world’s second best super middleweight by BoxRec, sixth by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and seventh by The Ring magazine. He is the son of former two-weight world boxing champion Chris Eubank.

Guys like Chris Eubank Jr. make boxing exciting and worth watching and is just the type of fighter Americans need to watch to get excited about boxing again.

Just check out this video below where he throws an amazing 16 haymakers in under 10 seconds!
