Kid bets he can take a kick to the head and stay conscious

When a group of young men get together you can pretty much guarantee that shenanigans will in fact occur.  The level of these shenanigans will vary depending on the age of the young men, their maturity level, and a variety of other factors.  One thing that is for certain is that hilarity will more than likely ensue.

In the video below, we see a couple of America’s teenagers at their finest. In what appears to be a basement or garage of some sort, more than likely their mother’s, a bet has been presented and accepted.

The gentleman with hands down by his side has proclaimed that he can withstand a head kick and remain conscious the entire time.  With all of the recent developments in regards to head trauma, CTE, and the lasting effect of traumatic head injuries that have been on every media outlet available it is a wonder that they proceed with this bet but, alas, kids will be kids.

What is shocking in the video below is the lack of precaution taken here.  Obviously, there are two outcomes that can occur:

One: the young man withstands the head kick, just as he bragged that he could and best case scenario he just took a shin to the head, unblocked, causing an unknown amount of damage.

OR

Two: the young man cannot stay conscious while he takes a shin to the head and not only does he have to contend with the damage the head kick caused but know he cannot protect himself as he plummets, face first and unconscious, towards the concrete floor.

Either way, this is not safe, however, there are several lessons to be learned, so check out the video below to see how this scenario plays out.
