Alleged Navy Seal vs Russian Sambo fighter in MMA fight – ends quickly

Friday, September 15, 2017

In this fight from Russian amateur MMA promotion ‘Arrows Street Fight,’ we see what happens when an alleged Navy Seal takes on a Russian Sambo practitioner and it doesn’t last very long at all.

The alleged Navy Seal in this video appears very muscular and physically strong while his opponent, the Russian Sambo practitioner, appears a little doughy and not in the best physical condition.

Navy Seals are known to practice a type of combative training that is pretty close to modern MMA. But obviously, their main goal in a real life or death combat situation is to use their various tools and weapons which they are highly trained to use, not slug it out with enemies.

Once the fight starts, the Navy Seal wastes no time and rushes at his opponent right from the get-go, throwing a barrage of very powerful punches before clinching up and taking it to the ground.

Now, you would think that against a Russian Sambo practitioner, you would want to avoid grappling exchanges and keep it on the feet at the striking range but the Navy Seal proves otherwise here.

He unloads some brutal ground and pound on his opponent here before locking up a guillotine choke which he is actually able to hoist his opponent off the ground with, displaying freakish strength. His opponent has no choice but to tap out or black out.

The project “Arrow. Street fights “started in the summer of 2011 in St. Petersburg. Anyone has the opportunity to take part in street battles without rules. For battles allowed only amateurs and semi-professionals. After a thorough analysis of the data and capabilities of the fighters, the jury forms approximately equal in strength pairs. In the battles involved men of different ages and social groups, which gives the project a truly popular and democratic character. [Source: YouTube]
