‘Crazy Monk’ with devastating skills vs 2 MMA fighters back to back

Sunday, September 17, 2017

In this video from Russian amateur MMA promotion ‘Arrows Street Fight’ we see what happens when a so-called ‘crazy monk’ takes on two alleged MMA fighters back to back and the result may surprise you.

According to the video description, ‘The Mad Monk from Mogilev brings down fighters without rules like firewood with an ax, one after another.’

The ‘crazy monk’ has a really cool, unique style with heavy kicking techniques that hints at a background in Muay Thai and/or perhaps traditional martial arts like Taekwondo or Karate as well.

He is very accurate and aggressive with his kicking techniques and makes quick work of his first opponent here who looks like he has no business competing in there. He also looks like he doesn’t even really want to be in there, to be honest.

The second match is at least a little more intriguing but much like the first, it’s not competitive at all. The monk could have finished his opponent many times, too, yet he seems to have held back for whatever reason.

Eventually, the fight is waved off and it probably could have been called even a little earlier. The performances of the monk’s opponents also make you question their supposed MMA backgrounds if they have any at all.

However, regardless of his opponent’s sub-par skill level, the so-called ‘Crazy Monk’ is most definitely a talented fighter and it would be cool to see how he does against a legit opponent. Watch the video below and see for yourself.

The project “Arrow. Street fights “started in the summer of 2011 in St. Petersburg. Anyone has the opportunity to take part in street battles without rules. For battles allowed only amateurs and semi-professionals. After a thorough analysis of the data and capabilities of the fighters, the jury forms approximately equal in strength pairs. In the battles involved men of different ages and social groups, which gives the project a truly popular and democratic character.  [Source: YouTube]
