Drunk boxer fights Kung Fu practitioner – someone gets WRECKED
Drunken Boxing, also known as ‘Drunken fist’ or Zui Quan, is a style of Chinese martial arts that imitates the movements of a drunk person. Now, the main advantages of this style are in its unpredictability and ability to disguise attack.
However, the term ‘Drunken Boxing’ isn’t meant to be taken literally as fighting while intoxicated, well, isn’t very smart. In this video from Arrows Street Fight, though, we see someone compete in an amateur MMA bout who takes ‘Drunken Boxing’ to a whole new level.
The gentleman in the beard is a boxer who has clearly been drinking as you can see in the video. But that doesn’t stop him from competing in an MMA bout, though, and you can see below how that goes for him.
Interestingly enough, his opponent in this bout is allegedly an ACTUAL practitioner of Chinese martial arts. It is unclear to what level or exactly what his style is but the title refers to him as being a ‘Kung Fu soldier,’ whatever that means.
As most of us know, the term Kung Fu is a bit of a misnomer as it’s not really a martial art of its own but more so, an umbrella term for all Chinese martial arts. To be frank, it is also kind of a red flag as an actual practitioner of Chinese martial arts like Wing Chun or Wushu, for instance, isn’t going to call themselves a Kung Fu practitioner I reckon.
Check out the video below to see if the drunken boxer isn’t too drunk to overcome the ‘Kung Fu soldier.’
