Sushi master competes in MMA vs. 2 opponents – does better than expected

Sunday, April 22, 2018

In this amateur MMA fight from Arrows Street Fight, also known as STRELKA, we see something a little different for a change as an alleged humble sushi master takes on two different opponents in MMA all in order to promote his sushi restaurant.

According to the video description,

‘Sushi master comes in the ring to promote his restaurant. Crazy fight vs two opponents on the STRELKA.’

That is one ballsy sushi master! He makes very quick work of his first MMA-opponent in the video below, in impressive fashion, and it was in such a manner that it makes you really wonder if he really is simply just a humble sushi master after all.

He fights in such a way which definitely looks like he has some legitimate training on some level. He has a striking-centered style too which hints at a Muay Thai/vault/kickboxing background with perhaps even a hint of some karate or Taekwondo in there too.

In the second fight, however, despite starting off strong, he runs into some trouble when the fight hits the ground. Like most hobbyists who dabble in MMA, they’re going to have some glaring holes in their skill set which gets exploited in the second match.

Although the so-called ‘sushi master’ definitely has some success and still performs very well here, his skills on the ground still clearly need some work. Hopefully, his restaurant does well though with all of the hard-earned extra promotion.

The project “Arrows Street fights“ started in the summer of 2011 in St. Petersburg. Anyone has the opportunity to take part in street battles without rules. For battles allowed only amateurs and semi-professionals. After a thorough analysis of the data and capabilities of the fighters, the jury forms approximately equal in strength pairs. In the battles involved men of different ages and social groups, which gives the project a truly popular and democratic character. [Source: YouTube]
