Muay Thai legend Saenchai’s 12 signature tactics and how to pull them off

Muay Thai legend, Saenchai, is widely considered one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters of all-time and likely the best right now who is currently competing. He also has a very unique, distinct style with a lot of cool tricks that we find more about in this video from YouTube channel ‘MMA Shredded’.

In this video, we get a look at 12 signature tactics from the all-time Muay Thai great’s arsenal. And, not only that, but we also get to see these unique tactics actually pulled off during live sparring from professional Muay Thai and MMA fighter, Jeff Chan.

One of the tactics covered in the video below is Saenchai’s flying scissor head kick. Compared to many other Muay Thai greats, Saenchai is pretty flashy and this really cool, seldom seen technique from his arsenal is a great proof of that.

Another of Saenchai’s signature tactics/techniques is his use of kick-catching that usually precedes a sweep or dump which are some other of his well-known techniques. These are great techniques to use against larger opponents whom Saenchai often had to fight throughout his career as no one his own size wanted to fight him!

Saenchai (born July 30, 1980), formerly known as Saenchai Sor. Kingstar, is a Thai Muay Thai fighter. Saenchai won the Lumpinee Championship title, which is widely considered the most prestigious title in Muay Thai, in four different weight divisions, while mostly fighting larger opponents. He is considered by many to be the best pound for pound Muay Thai fighter and is regarded as one of the best fighters of all time.
