Fighting in the street is something that should be avoided at all costs. PERIOD. What many people fail to realize (particularly young men) is that when they enter into a street fight they are willfully stepping into a potential life or death scenario over what is usually very a trivial matter.

However, when someone physically attacks you and forces you to defend yourself that is a very different situation and in the following video from YouTube channel Fight SCIENCE, we find out how to quickly finish a fight if we ever find ourselves in that situation.

The basic premise of this instructional video is all about being efficient and hitting the closest possible target from wherever your hands/feet lie.

For example, if your hands are held up high then it makes the most sense to strike high to your opponent’s head. But if your hands are down low instead it might be more prudent to perhaps throw some body shots then maybe work your way upstairs to finish your attacker off.

Fight SCIENCE also recommends mixing in low kicks to not only do damage to your attacker but also to distract them too in order to bring their guard down so you can land more shots.
