Guinness world record attempt – kicking chocolate off NFL player’s heads

Wednesday, June 28, 2017

The head kick is perhaps one the most flashy and iconic moves in all of the martial arts thanks to the likes of Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, and Mirko Cro Cop.

So you may be wondering if anyone holds a world record involving head kicks?

In the following Guinness World Record video, British martial artist Zara Phythian attempts to break the record for the most chocolate footballs kicked off people’s heads within one minute.

Starting her martial arts training at the age of seven in Shotokan Karate and later moving onto Taekwondo, she became the first British martial artist to be inducted into the International Karate & Kickboxing Hall of Fame (IKKHoF) in 2006. Throughout her career, she has appeared as an actress and stuntwomen in such films as Marvel’s Doctor Strange, Alien: Uprising and He Who Dares.

But will she be able to answer this Guinness challenge?

To make the attempt, a gauntlet of NFL players has been setup, each wearing a helmet holding a chocolate football which Zara will need to kick cleanly off to count toward the record.

Check out the full record attempt below.

Guinness World Records, known from its inception in 1955 until 1998 as The Guinness Book of Records and in previous U.S. editions as The Guinness Book of World Records, is a reference book published annually, listing world records and national records, both of human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. The book itself holds a world record, as the best-selling copyrighted book of all time. As of the 2016 edition, it is now in its 62nd year of publication. The international franchise has extended beyond print to include television series and museums. [Source: Wiki]
