Mackenzie Foy shows off her Taekwondo on Jimmy Fallon

Saturday, April 01, 2017

Currently best known for her roles as Renesmee Cullen in Twilight and Murph Cooper in Interstellar (to which she received much critical acclaim), actress MacKenzie Foy’s star is certainly on the rise with her next film The Nutcracker and the Four Realms due for release in 2018.

Starting off her career as a print-ad model for companies like Ralph Lauren and Mattel, you may be surprised to learn that the actress also has a lengthy background in Tae Kwon Do.

In an interview with Obsesse, Mackenzie talked about how she got into martial arts as a young child.

“I used to be a dancer, but my studio closed, so I wanted to find something active that would be fun to do with my brother. It actually took me six years to get my black belt. It taught me that getting what you want takes a lot of hard work and time.”

So how good is she?

On an interview with Jimmy Fallon she gets asked to demonstrate a move on him, which predictably ends painfully for Fallon.
