A day as Tim Kennedy’s punching bag – would you do it?

Sunday, November 12, 2017

Former UFC fighter Tim Kennedy is not only an elite level MMA fighter but he is also a Special Forces sniper, Ranger qualified Green Beret and just pretty much an all-around bad ass. During his MMA career, he defeated top guys like Michael Bisping, Roger Gracie, Robbie Lawler and Rafael Natal just to name a few.

In this video from theCHIVE, we see Tim Kennedy teach the finer points of MMA to a complete noob and also uses him as a punching bag in quite humorous fashion.
Kennedy first goes over the right cross in which, as he points out, the power actually comes from your feet/hips and lower body, not your upper body like many people think.

You also want to try to put all that power into your first two knuckles to generate the strongest possible punch.

Kennedy also goes over the round kick in the video, which he calls the most powerful strike in your arsenal. You can throw this kick to the head, body or to the legs so it is a very versatile technique.

He demonstrates this technique full power when the noob is wearing the full body armor. Can he stand up to it? Watch the video below to find out.

Kennedy also demonstrates how to correctly throw a superman punch as well as some grappling maneuvers before the two step into the cage. Watch the video below to see what happens.
