One of the most beloved ring card girls in combat sports history is branching out and taking center stage as a singer. Las Vegas native Penelope López Márquez, better known as Arianny Celeste shot to fame in 2006. Celeste would welcome viewers back from commercial break with her bikini-clad colleagues with a smile and wave before the next 5 minutes of violence commenced.

Celeste has appeared on numerous magazine covers such as FHM, Maxim and even appeared on the Playboy November 2010 cover. She has appeared in a couple of movies and co-hosted Overhaulin’ on Velocity TV. She is a record 6-time recipient of the World MMA Award Ring card girl of the year winning four years straight between 2008 to 2011 and again in 2014 and 2015.

Not a stranger to controversy she has had very public spats with Ronda Rousey and Chael Sonnen as well as being arrested after an incident with her partner at the time who accused her of kicking him in the nose. Celeste weathered those storms and even recently wished Rousey well in her upcoming marriage to Travis ‘Hapa’ Browne.

In the video, she covers the classic song ‘Can’t take my eyes off you’. Originally a hit for Frankie Valli way back in 1967 it is one of the most covered songs in pop history, appearing in multiple films and TV shows. In 1978 actors Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, and John Cazale sang the lyrics in the movie The Deer Hunter while in 1989, Michelle Pfeiffer sang the song in The Fabulous Baker Boys. Following on a tradition of it reappear every decade in 1999, Heath Ledger sang the song in the teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You.

Celeste has a delicate voice and promises to release original material soon. This could explain her recent absences from cage side. Even if she doesn’t dominate the charts Worldwide I bet she will find a home in Vegas, especially when the UFC has a card on.
