Well, it looks like Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are slated to shock the world once again as numerous sources have confirmed that they will indeed be fighting once again, but this time, it’s going to be in the UFC cage instead.

A spokesman from the Mayweather camp has confirmed that they have reached a deal with the UFC – a 1-fight deal for 100 million dollars for the massive super fight which is expected to take place at UFC 225 on June 9th, 2018.

It is unclear exactly what McGregor will be making for this fight but his camp has confirmed that a deal has been reached and it will be a comparable payday to what McGregor received in their boxing match last summer.

Mayweather has reportedly already been training with UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, focusing on his wrestling and kicking-game, which, according to Woodley, is coming along nicely.

Mayweather will be a massive underdog in this fight, even more so than McGregor was in their boxing match from last August, but bets for both sides are already pouring in and many in the boxing community actually believe Mayweather has a chance.

UFC 225 will surely be the biggest fight card of the year, if not all-time, with the massive McGregor vs. Mayweather super-fight headliner on top of an already stacked card with the Yoel Romero vs. Robert Whittaker rematch as the co-main, alongside Alistair Overeem vs. Curtis Blaydes, Cláudia Gadelha vs. Carla Esparza, and it is also rumored that CM Punk will be fighting on the card as well.

APRIL FOOLS! APRIL FOOLS! APRIL FOOLS!

Just joking! Conor McGregor is not fighting Floyd Mayweather in the UFC! At least as of right now. Mayweather has about as much of a chance as CM Punk does in an MMA fight with Conor McGregor and, actually, CM Punk vs. Mayweather somehow makes way more sense than this one.

Have a look at this awesome April fool’s video with Brock Lesnar instead…

Happy April fool’s day!
