That time Uriah Hall spinning heel kicked his opponent into oblivion

So you want to be a fighter, huh?

Just imagine being on the receiving end of this spinning hook kick. Hands down the most devastating knockout in the history of The Ultimate Fighter, as echoed by UFC President Dana White, and maybe even the most devastating knockout ever in the history of MMA (it’s for sure up there).

This crazy knockout by Uriah Hall on opponent Adam Cella took place during the 17th season on the Ultimate Fighter with coaches Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen.

As you can probably guess, Uriah Hall comes from a background in traditional martial arts and has trained extensively under Tiger Schulman which you can clearly see come across in his style.

You can tell from the reaction of everybody in the room just how brutal this knockout was, including the UFC President’s. If the brutality of it clearly comes across through film, just imagine what it must have been like to be there in person.

After this amazing knockout victory, Uriah Hall was obviously slated to be the next big thing at middleweight and was a shoe-in for winning that season. He easily beat everyone else in the house but ran into some trouble in the finals, trouble named Kelvin Gastelum who outworked the talented Uriah Hall to win a decision.

Consistently has always been a problem for Hall so far in his UFC career but he has indeed shown flashes of brilliance, like when he knocked out top-ranked Gegard Mousasi with a similar technique to this one the first time they fought.

Uriah Alexander Hall (born July 31, 1984) is a Jamaican mixed martial artist and former kickboxer who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, in its middleweight division. He was the runner-up on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones vs. Team Sonnen. Prior to his appearance on TUF, Hall competed in Bellator MMA and Ring of Combat, where he saw success in winning the ROC Championship.  [Source: Wiki]
