NFL quarterback Tom Brady vs. Sumo wrestler

Saturday, June 24, 2017

It seems the hottest trend in sports right now is for its athletes to try and seek success in other sports. The most recent and outrageous case is Conor McGregor stepping into the ring against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mixed Martial Arts is no stranger to welcoming crossover athletes, whether from kickboxing, wrestling or even the NFL where we have seen the likes of Brendan Schaub, Matt Mitrione to even the legendary Herschel Walker.

So with that in mind how would an NFL player fair if he went into another combat sport such as boxing, BJJ or in this case the sport of Sumo Wrestling.

While on the TB12 2017 Asia Tour, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady finds himself in Japan at a Sumo Dojo. Sizing up the competition it’s become clear Tom is going to have to represent the NFL in his effort to try and push a Sumo out of the ring.

Will his tackle be any match? Check out the clip below.

About Tom Brady:
Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He is one of only two players to win five Super Bowls (the other being Charles Haley), the only quarterback to win five and the only player to win them all playing for one team.

After playing college football for the University of Michigan, Brady was drafted by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. In Brady’s 15 seasons as a starter, he has quarterbacked the Patriots to seven Super Bowl appearances, the most for any player in history. [Source: Wiki]
