American rapper Radric Davis, also known as Gucci Mane has released a plethora of trap hits. He’s worked with the likes of Ciara, Mariah Carey, Omarion, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy and T.I. Unfortunately, living that true thug life, he’s been involved in a number of assault charges and violated numerous probations and paroles. This has led to numerous jails sentences and the rapper won’t be out of jail until of September 2016.

The rapper truly shows off his toughness in this video of him working with his boxing trainer. Although he has gained weight and grown a belly over time, the boxer seems to be able to keep up with his trainer’s instructions.

He oddly switches from orthodox or southpaw but is able to follow-up quickly with whatever punch his trainer is calling for. His left jab looks pretty good and I’m sure if those overhand rights would connect, they’d be able to do some damage.

Funny enough, this video was in-part of photographer Cam Kirk that was selling a limited edition print shirt on his site. The shirt would have the words “Gucci Balboa” printed on it. Gucci Mane may be no Rocky Balboa, but at least the rapper has actually taken the time and effort to learn how to throw his hands. He may be no professional boxer, but I’m sure that he can more than handle himself in his jail cell.

If you’ve see other rappers such as Young Thug and Meek Mill’s boxing videos, then you’d also know that Gucci Mane would probably put a whooping on them inside the ring. That belly is no obstacle.
