The PFL will hold three events in October, to determine the finalists for the final event of the year on New Year's Eve, with $1 million going to each division winner. All three playoff events will be held at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Each division will have an eight-man field, with the new women's lightweight having four. The playoffs for the 8-man divisions will be held on a single night, with the opening round lasting two rounds, and the semis lasting three rounds.
