UFC 255 weigh-ins video and results
UFC 255 will be held on, Saturday, November 21, 2020, at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. The official weigh-ins take place on Friday at the APEX, at Noon ET (9:00 a.m. local time).
In the main event, there was a juggling act. Flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo was scheduled to defend vs. former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt. However, in early October it was announced that Garbrandt suffered a torn bicep, so Alex Perez was in. Perez had been scheduled to fight Brandon Moreno, who now fights Brandon Royval.
In the co-main event of the evening, women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko defends vs. Jennifer Maia. The odds against Maia are some of the longest in memory.
Other Garter snake bit moments in the card include:
•Former UFC welterweight champ Robbie Lawle was injured, and was replaced by Tim Means, vs. Mike Perry.
•Orion Cosce withdrew for undisclosed reasons on November 12, and was replaced by Daniel Rodriguez, vs. Nicolas Dalby.
•John Allan Arte vs. Roman Dolidze resecheduled to UFC on ESPN 19 on December 5, at the UFC APEX.
The hardcore MMA fanbase is not, mostly, salivating over the event.
