Punk looks good and cut a decent promo. He's going to want to work again and Vince needs him.  Punk vs HHH at Mania is my guess.

Also, Paige needs to learn to shut the fuck up she almost ruined it.

What a terrible way to return, this could’ve been huge on live tv at raw smackdown nxt or a ppv. But on another note good for him he deserves to be in pro wrestling in some form.

He's signed to Fox, not WWE.

But I guarantee you he's back in the ring by Mania.  WWE put out a press release praising him.

Also faggot Seth Rollins is tweeting at Punk to "fight him".  Goddamn we all know everyone wants to work with Punk for the money since the product is dead otherwise but he's such a shameless slime ball.

It would have been awesome to have him show up in Chicago for Survivor Series rather than here, but either way it is definitely a good move by WWE to get him back rather than have him show up in AEW.

Timing wise it will likely work out great for NXT's ratings tonight as some extra folks will likely tune in to see if he appears (highly unlikely).

I don't think an in ring return will happen unless it leads to him main eventing a wrestlemania.

It'll happen.  Punk looked happy last night and WWE needs the positive buzz.

In his defense, 5 years for a pro wrestling retirement is an eternity.

A Fox employee but he’s being paid to shill for WWE so there’s no difference at all despite what he’ll claim. He sold out and went back on his word. And the worst part is he did it in the lamest way — to join a program solely dedicated to promoting WWE product. Not about wrestling or even ego, just a pure desperation money grab.

How does one analyze fake shit?

This WWE Fox thing is 1994 WWF bad, but worse.

Money talks. I am betting VKM threw major dollars at Punk just to get him under some kind of contract that kept him from even considering an AEW offer.

He's under contract to Fox, Vince I'm sure begrudgingly going with this.

That said he's not wrestling.  If he wanted to he would have been back years ago.  And if he wanted to now he'd go to AEW where he doesn't have to deal with Vince and H, gets to work one day a week, and gets a ton of creative freedom.

Why?  Maybe he felt that way at the time.

Randy Orton: "I hope he does come back. That brother can go in the ring."

Me: "WTF Orton, why are you bringing race into this? Punk isn't even black."

He never did.

Punk used to be a man of his word. He got fired on his wedding day, suffered a WWE backed lawsuit that tarnished his friendship, and he goes back to help promote them? After all that shit he talked?

I don't believe him on anything, anymore.

Also the way he badmouthed AEW was classless.

Because he has always been respected for how real and honest he was. Straightforward, not afraid to make sacrifices to get ahead. He was offered a gimmick to get on the main roster, and he refused. He didn't even change his name. He was the same person he was from the indies, and everyone loved that.

Now it's like, this company did so much shit to him and he's gonna smile, nod, and take money anyway? This doesn't sound like a dude keeping it real anymore. It sounds like someone the old CM Punk would rip on. But I get his wife still wants to go back and he loves money. It just seems that after all that conflict, giving up principle for cash is the least cool thing he's done besides get beat up by Michael Jackson.
