Some lawyer got into Flair's ear. I would think it is covered by sheer common usage that per-dates Ric latching onto it. But I am no lawyer.

LOL

Charlotte is mad at him. His legal bullshit might cause Becky to have to change or modify her gimmick, which is hugely over.

I think all he cares about is his wife Wendy having some financial help after he dies.

After seeing the TMZ interview, I am somewhat relieved because on paper it sounded like he's lost his mind, but he makes some decent points.

According to WhatCulture, Flair holds the trademark on "to be the man, you gotta beat the man". He filed for a trademark on "The Man" on August 26th.

Think he might lose this one.

Well that first trademark makes some sense. Flair did, as far as I know, come up with that little gem. But people were using the term The Man before he ever uttered it.

This is as dumb as Lebron trying to trademark "taco tuesday". I love Flair but didn't he "borrow" the Nature Boy gimmick. Did he pay Buddy Rogers any money for it? Doubt it.

Becky needs to drop The Man stuff anyways. Maybe after the Sasha angle. Shit is getting tiresome since Ronda left.

Ric has been looked after very well by WWE it's a bit surprising he hasn't just worked something out with Triple H.

Does Ric own a trademark for "Nature Boy" because there were a few guys using that gimmick around the same time.

He even admits in the clip he does not have a trademark on that phrase.

He should of just accepted HHH's offer and call it a day

HHH making an offer was only because he is a Flair guy. Why Flair thinking he would get paid off this is foolish.

Maybe he can sue Leon White's estate for all the times Vader said "Who's the man?! Who's the man?!" in WCW.

Speaking of which:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeqjTfwsqjk

5 legends talk about who the "Man" is for the WWE 2K20. Not sure when it was filmed, but a certain Legend who had more of a history in WWE than Sting (who was included) is absent.

This headline should read: "Ric Flair banished, never returning to WWE."

Fucking idiot suing the WWE.

Or seek network royalties for every event where Sid says "I'm the man!!"
