I went to the AAW show last night. Really fun show overall, but it's probably my last AAW show for a while. Sami Callihan has his hooks in deep and he's killing my enjoyment of the product. They had the perfect opportunity to freshen up the title picture last night by putting it on David Starr after a really good build and they ruined it with an unnecessary double cross. Between Sami's terrible title reigns, Jessicka Havok ruining the women's title picture, the AEW guys leaving, and Danny not booking people who work for other Chicago companies, I think I'm done for a while

Damn, bummer to hear that, especially being your local one and in my mind, the biggest Indy not in the Northeast, Florida, or California.

What other Indys do you enjoy currently , local or not?

I'm watching Beyond Lethal Lottery when the rain starts today, amidst the free trial and almost up to current, then probably will watch a bunch of MLW, start in January 19, I think, want to see all the Hart Foundation and Dynasty stuff, Lawlors run, Cornette.

BOLA participants are starting to come out.

1. A-Kid
2. Jonathan Gresham

They might have to get creative considering how many guys are off the market this year. I am really interested to see the whole field.

AAW started announcing participants for the Jim Lynam tournament also. I'm still pretty disillusioned with AAW's product lately, so I'm probably skipping the tournament this year

Jake Atlas

Laredo Kid

Josh Briggs

Eddie Kingston

Artemis Spencer number 3 for BOLA.

Not going to lie, it took me a few seconds to place that name.

the local indy that comes through 2 or 3 times a year announced their November tour headliner. Juventud Guerrero.

Darby Allin announced for BOLA.

Also, GCW doesn't get a lot of attention here but today's Backyard Wrestling show was really great

Artemis is a quality worker, he's currently the Defy Champion

That 6:30 flip to the outside was insane.

Most importantly, Spencer is Canadian. That right there means quality (don't bring up Test anyone)

I'm skipping Jim Lynam this year. I'm still not really happy with AAW's booking, so I'm voting with my wallet. Not that it'll make a difference, but it's all I can do

At least Sami isn't in the tournament so download the tournament matches illegally afterwards.

Jim Smallman leaving Progress. I'm sure Progress will continue to run along just fine, but that's a big loss for the promotion.

Rey Horus, David Starr, and Laredo Kid added to BOLA

and Smallman will be a massive loss to Progress. I don't think John and Glen can run it without him to be honest
