What was the guy thinking???
What kind of dummy sneaks onto a pro wrestler’s tour bus and expects not to get pummeled? Well, that’s exactly what happened after a Fozzy show in Regina, Saskatchewan. After the intruder pulled Fozzy drum tech Jack Slade off the band’s tour bus, breaking Slade’s collarbone, Chris Jericho chased down the assailant and roughed him up.
The story was reported by Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer. “There was apparently a kid helped play or did some drum work on the show and the kid wanted to get onto the tour bus or get autographs or something,” Meltzer reports. “I guess they don’t want him on and he ends up somehow sneaking on and one of the guys on the crew saw him and they got into a fight and the guy actually ended up with a broken collarbone because of the fight and then he gets kicked out.”
“So Jericho gives him a spear and he’s pounding on him from the mounted position. The people who were there watching this tried to hold the guy until the police arrived and then he got away. The police ended up catching him.”
Slade confirmed his broken collarbone with a post on Twitter yesterday (Dec. 3) evening:
So after breaking my damn collarbone last night I've realised I'm shit at doing things right handed— Jack Slade (@IAmJackSlade) December 3, 2018
