Great thought, as without that angle, I didn't see any amount of $ going out to Conor for future fights. At least not the $ Conor wants.

 

If whiskey business is great, little extra advertising in this form could be invaluable.

It’s not that hard to understand. His fighting career has morphed into multiple business opportunities, by fighting and keeping his name relevant he continues to cash in all his other ventures... in this post he is referring to his August/McGregor line of clothing.

honestly I'm withholding judgement until we hear from cockpunch15 and 16.

Conor is talking about the information he has that nobody else does. He already knows who he is fighting, when he is fighting them.

I take it to mean that he has a better chance to beat cowboy and a potential super fight with Masvidal at 170 afterwards.

^ I think that's why he's taking it at 170 - opens up a chance vs jorge if he wins, but he could also step in on late notice 3 months later in place of khabib or ferg for the LW belt if someone drops out there - even if he loses to cowboy at ww in january
