JUSTICE LEAGUE #41
written by ROBERT VENDITTI
art by AARON LOPRESTI and MATT RYAN
colors by DAVID BARON
cover by BRYAN HITCH
Eradicator and his strike team of enhanced Daxamites sweep across Earth with devastating consequences! The Justice League finds itself battered and overwhelmed by an enemy more powerful than even Superman. Batman and Green Lantern plan a counter assault, but it can't work without the Flash, whose connection to the Speed Force has become unpredictable--and possibly fatal. With the team at half-strength, will it be enough to hold their enemies at bay?

Dear DC,

You clowns didn't think this through.

  • Why fight the Justice League at all? Just destroy the planet and then grab a beer.
  • Or wipe out all the people on the planet, and then grab a beer.
  • Or, well, you get the idea.

Here's the point, it's cannon that Superman can shoulder press the Earth for days without breaking a sweat and now these villains are stronger than that? Just drop kick Earth in half and then grab a beer.

Daxamites have been on par with Kryptonians physically for quite a while as I recall. So that is not a change.

But yes, DC has a huge issue with the strength levels they give characters. They are just completely ridiculous. Marvel seems to be following that same trend though as more and more of their characters are considered to have 'limitless' strength.
