Star Wars nerd channels are having a meltdown.  Kathleen Kennedy is now saying that the problem with the Star Wars franchise was that there was no source material to continue the saga.  She specifically says there were no comics, no 800 page books to guide them.

 

There was only like 20 years of Dark Horse comics, a couple of hundred books and the fact George fucking Lucas had the plans for episode 7, 8, and 9 planned out.

Agree with this.  I think Disney just didn't want to pay royalties for the Legends universe.  Also from the beginning I think there was a big push for the SJW women are the best agenda.

Well the first push was to get some money for the big investment. So JJ makes TFA with as much fan service as he can stuff into it. It was all down hill from there.
