Tom Holland has been playing a superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2016. However, the Spider-Man: Far From Home star proved he's a real-life hero as well, at least in the eyes of his fans.
The fan in question tweeted that Holland came to her aid after she was shoved aside by older men looking for autographs, noting that the actor threatened to throw their belongings to the ground if the kept pushing her. She then followed up with a video in which Holland can clearly be heard saying, "I'm gonna throw your shit on the floor if you keep pushing that girl." He then consoles her and asks the rest of the crowd to give her some space.
Apparently, for Holland, being a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man not only transcends the neighborhood but the big screen. That's fortunate because with great star-power comes great responsibility.
Opening July 2, director Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, JB Smoove, Jacob Batalon and Martin Starr, with Marisa Tomei and Jake Gyllenhaal.
