Last night I saw the new John Wick movie and some of the fight scenes were very well staged. It was nice to see Judo represented well. From what I understand Keanu Reeves studied some and BJJ also.  It's not often you get some choregrapy with Judo in it. There was a lot of throws; seionage, Morote, Kata Garuma, Sumi Gaeshi and others.  I know this is really a Judo forum but the movie is worth checking out.

Thanks a lot, John Wick!  That movie renewed my interest in judo, so I started back again.  I even brought my son and he actually enjoyed it.

My instructor Vlad Koulikov was in the first movie. He's a BJJ & Judo blackbelt and a Sambo Master of Sport. AFAIK, he didn't get a chance to roll around with Keanu Reeves at all but has said that he's a good dude.

Love how grappling is represented in those movies.

Yeah that's really cool and he does a lot of different techniques.
