Not sure if true but saw this post:

Unrelated but concerning Bujutsu. Japan desperate to have the Olympics be held next year has introduced some new rules. Karate will not be allowed to use any form of KI-AI (making it more and more a comedy show done as a mime) and Judo is mulling the banning of all groundwork (no hold-downs, arm locks etc) Other contact sports (boxing wrestling etc) will be radically changed to conform to the 'social distancing' standard. Why not have done with it and just have the 2021 Olympics be a mail in event.
