Come and learn and, train with 8th Degree Red and Black belt Joe Moreira!

It will be held on Saturday, September 13. It will begin at 12:00 noon and, last until 3:00pm.

The event will be held at Team Rubao Carioca BJJ(formally Gracie Barra Mebane) at 1141-A Gibson Road, Mebane, NC 27302. That's about a half mile off of exit 152 from route 40/85. We have over 2,000 sq. feet of mat space, so there will be lot's of room.

We will be doing a promotion where Professor Rubens "Rubao" Rodrigues will be receiving his 5th degree from the man who promoted him.

Cost of the seminar of the seminar will be $50 for team Rubao Carioca members and affiliates, $70 for all other unless you put down a deposit then it will be $60.

We are working on getting Professor Joe to come in a few days early for private lessons. If you are interested, call Vernon Kirk at 919-448-6601. He's the business manager for Team Rubao Carioca.

I was told that Professor Joe will be available for private lessons on the days prior to the seminar. $150 for one person, $120 each for 2 people and, $80 each for 4 people. To set one up, please call Vernon Kirk at 919-448-6601.

The seminar was attended by nearly 50 students and, was very good. He started out explaining what the meaning of "gentle art" meant. He followed that up by teaching it and, the concepts and, techniques were all based on technique.
