• First Round and Second Round: Format (seeding vs. bracket) and series lengths will be best-of-seven.

These playoffs are really going to be exciting!!!  I was worried for a bit that they wouldn’t move forward, for liability, plus the NHL had already set the precedent in 2005, there was no regular season and no Stanley Cup champion!  It was a lockout due to the CBA dispute between league and players.  and that was when times were normal.  They almost did it again in 2012-2013 but luckily they came to an agreement and salvaged a “half season” and we got playoffs.  I’m really happy they are back and I think the 24 team system is very fair.  

Let’s go Vegas, Dallas from the west!  Maple Leafs from the East!
