Sure. Richie Wentz was a NYPD Detective and a Volunteer Firefighter for Long Beach. After his 9/11 stuff happened, he eventually moved to Parkland, FL. He was the Security Specialist at Stoneman Douglas HS for years. The kids absolutely loved him- even the bad ones. He has a daughter, and had 2 step daughters. One tragically passed away in a well publicized car accident when the wrongway driver infamously tweeted “Too drunk to care” before getting behind the wheel. Richie was good natured and was always down to Earth. He was a wonderful human being.
