I built a gym in my garage over the last two days. the squat rack is folding so I can still park. got a set of 90 pound powerblocks too.

Nice setup. Trying to save time? Why not go to the gym?

lifting weights is a meditation for me.  sometimes it's the only alone time I get in the day. I always want to train, but sometimes I dont want to see anyone. sometimes I dont want to deal with feeling obligated to say hi to all the people in the gym that know me. sometimes I just want to be alone with the weights, counting the reps and the breaths. sometimes I will listen to the same song for 2 straight hours because it keeps me in the zone or a flow state if you must. this way I wont have to deal with any Interuptions. I wont have to feel rushed because there are people waiting for the squat rack. I can work on technique any time I want by just walking a few steps. it's really a beautiful thing.

lol! I subscribe to no jerking off so I'm always thirsty to hunt new pussy. If I did though I'm sure I'd have an oculus rift and a fleshlight or something like that. I get really into stuff!

How do you like the powerblock?  Do they have the same feel as regular dumbbells?

they are good. I've had a pair for about 10 years. saves a lot of space and money compared to having every dumbell from 5 pounds to 90 in 2.5 pound increments.

I just blazed this Charlotte's web strain which is 16 percent CBD and 4 percent THC then did a large volume of heavy squats, heavy deadlifts, Bulgarian split squats and then some farmer Carrie's down my alley and back with a trap bar. training at home is so peaceful. it's cold as fuck up here in canada right  now too and there's no heat In my garage and it's barely insulated. i wore 3 layers of clothes to stay warm during long rest periods. not gonna lie, it feels pretty badass all alone in the cold lifting heavy weights.

So, summer rolls into NZ in two days, didn't quite get where I wanted to this year, but I've also been a lazy fuck.

Hopefully I can get into a good enough routine to get back into BJJ early next year.

Been subbed to this thread for a while, tried to use it to keep me accountable, but it didn't really work lol. In the last few months I really quit back on booze and cigs, been avoiding as much hardcore processed food as I can, and have been feeling really good. I've been going to BJJ intermittently through this time and going down Wednesday night was the reason I've decided to post this.

Not sure how much I weighed in the left pic, it's just when I took the picture to hold me accountable at the start of the year. I weighed 77kg last I checked, might need to start eating a bit more and doing some cardio to get rid of the last of my fat though. Been a good journey so far.

These are the two first pics I posted in the thread. Almost feel like I haven't really changed from the second weirdly.

You might not think it's a huge difference but you're clearly making progress. Keep up the work man

she lives on the island. I live on the mainland. she was in town taking a seminar to improve upon her RMT skills. she was already way late on checking  out of her hotel room and had a reservation on the ferry to go home. I've never had a prostitute in my life. she also came over 2 weeks later for the weekend and stayed at my place and will be doing the same next weekend. she is full on in love with your boy.

lifting weights will build you the physique you want. go to the gym and start doing overhead press, rows, squats, deadlift, chin ups, pullups, dips, pushup, handstand pushups, cleans, clean and jerk, snatch.

these are all functional strength movements and they will all help your BJJ and help you armor your body for training. do not lift with your ego. lift with perfect form and do a full body stretching routine after to maintain and approve upon your flexibility.  cardio 3 times a week and preferably split apart from your weight training. like in the morning fasted but lift at night.  your diet is going to have to be on point. probably force feeding yourself when  not even hungry. you're gonna need to prioritize sleep. it's not easy. it's a 24 hour a day job. if you really want it you can have it. it's not gonna come to you by being lazy.

Nice, man. Very nice. Been a good little bit since I've gotten texts like that - but I had my time where my phone was always going off like that.

Precious memories...

Cheers for the advice, that's mostly what I've been trying to do, it feels like I'm force feeding myself already. I've been at the gym 3x a week for the last month, and I haven't been doing free weights aside from squats, just want to build some semblance of strength first, then move to free weights, then maybe look into olympic lifts, given I've never done them before.

I tend to stretch before, during and after every machine I use, then jump on a rowing machine for 7 to 10 minutes as a cool down, I plan to make cardio a more regular thing when I'm looking at going back to BJJ, planning for that in the early new year.

Lots of sleep is going to suck. I barely get enough as is.
