Around 6'1" and 220 lbs and 42 yo. I was down to 204 lbs early last year. Some body fat crept back on over the last six months. Hopefully by the summer I will be back to looking like the white Straydog!

I've been dieting hard and am down 10 lbs in a week. 221 this morning. So the easy water weight is off and now the actual work begins. Last time I got down to 192, I was about 14% bodyfat. So I figure if I can get down to 185, that would be great for me. Certainly not shredded by most standards, but the lowest BF I'll have ever had in my life.
My clothes are telling me that cheat month needs to end.
Nice
This month I've done 2 weeks with OMAD IF, and then 2 weeks with a 48 hour fast with the rest of those days at full normal caloric intake. 12 pounds down for this month.
Started at 228, aiming for ripped at 205 ish
I want to get shredded this year!
I just need to lose 7-10 lb by May. I think I can do it all by diet alone, my workouts are going to start ramping up hard as soon as daylight savings hits so I’m not worried about that.
I just want to lose all my extra fat, which isn’t a ton, but it needs to go.
Hadn’t worked out for years with the stress of work and kids. In October wife said she wanted a divorce and kicked me out. Went from 205 to 170 on 45 days because I couldn’t eat. Said fuck this I. Getting back in shape. Started eating my ass of, lifting and doing hiit 5 days a week. Still 175 but getting six pack and am way stronger. If we don’t get back together finding company this summer isn’t going to be hard.
you do it for yourself, that's the only way it's sustainable anyway. Either it makes you feel good and it's worth it or it doesn't.
I got stem cells in my knee about a month ago and it's starting to hurt less . I'm planning on starting back at Jiu Jitsu after two years of not being able to roll . God willing , I will be back in shape by June . I got about 15 - 20 to lose .
iclimb513 - I think i've decided I don't care anymore. I was hitting the gym multiple times a week - either lifting or spin until a few months ago and then I just sort of had a "why am I bothering" moment.
I can not do shit and I stay the same size and weight I've been for almost 30 years - 170 to 175lbs with a 32" waist. I think my body is just set to be like this now. I've never been an over / junk eater so it seems really unlikely I'll ever get fat.
I look the same in clothes, and I've had people say I look in great shape when I've done nothing for many many months - and I'm 50+ now so who am I trying to impress anymore?
So I shant be getting shredded anymore! I say good day sir!
Should probably just do it as part of a health and productivity routine along with diet. Cardio 2-3 times a week, strength training same. Stay strong and keep your heart healthy. You're getting older, shit's going to deteriorate if you don't maintain.
I’m down 16 lbs in the last month. Corinthian’s fasting thread inspired me to cut calories pretty hard and it’s working. I feel good too, when I start to feel it affecting my workouts, I ease off for a couple days and then cut calories again.

I love those things and I love the massive farts I get from them too. Only down side is the bloat.
Asparagus, orange peppers, chick peas, shrimp, chicken, kale, sweet potatoes and brown rice pasta. Meals prepped and doing the work that needs to get done.
Have to say that looks boring as fuck, and is pretty much what I've been eating since January haha
What's that on the brussel sprouts?

Haha. I use a little A1 on the turkey and soy sauce on the rice. I actually like it. I’m lucky that I can eat the same shit day in and day out and never get bored.
The brussel sprouts are roses in a little olive oil and spices with garlic powder, seasons salt and pepper. Broiled for 25 min at 400 degrees. Tasty as fuck. Hope you’re well D!
