"The Republican Party, the Green Party and the Peace and Freedom Party require voters to be registered with their party in order to vote in their primaries. They do not allow so-called cross-over voting."

Not sure why the all knowing Q would frame it this way when it was a requirement from the Republican side.  What you're seeing is the ballot request for NPP, Republicans aren't allowing NPP to receive the ballot.  They need to be a registered republican.

Yeah before I left the states I had to register as a Republican (against my wishes) if I wanted to vote against Dems. This shits real folks.

I had the same question. I'm not from Cali, and I'm not super political, but it seems to me that republicans would be left off of the presidential PRIMARY election ballot if no one is challenging trump in the primaries. Am I missing something?

FL has closed primaries. If you have no party prefrence, you cannot vote in any primary.  Only people registered for a party can vote in primaries, and only for that party's primary.  I used to be registered as independent and had to change my registration to repblican so I could vote in the primary.  That applies for all offices, not just president.

Stupid shit like this spreads like wildfire on the internet simply because stupid people don't take the time to figure out what they are looking at before they share it with other stupid people.  Op is either one of the stupids, or at least taking advantage of them.

Hint: that form is not some anti-Republican conspiracy, stupid.

An hour ago you believed Q uncovered some deep conspiracy then you learned this is normal.

And you still didn't understand any of it.

I made sure that when I noticed myself trying to pick apart everyting Obama did to find some kind of scandal that I took a step back. Dems and California in general do plenty of scandalous stuff without having to make something out of nothing
