It's too bad that some people hate the tase of Cilantro as it has the amazing ability to remove 80% of heavy metals from your body, including flouride.

My diet consists of organic cilantro 5-6 days a week, and you really aren't getting enough of it. If your diet consists of seafood you should be integrating cilantro in your diet, moreso because of the amout of mercury that you may be consuming.

Fastest way to ruin a good salsa is to add cilantro. Fuck that shit.

I love it.

We put it in Mexican-style dishes and in salads

I feel sorry for those of you with a genetic defect that makes it taste like soap to you

I never realized cilantro and coriander were the same thing.

I use coriander powder for Indian dishes.  That is made by grinding the seeds.

I have no idea what the leaves taste like.  I've eaten them, but it doesn't have any distinctive taste I can recall. I would probably recognize it if I just ate the leaves.

Isnt coriander the seeds from cilantro?

Fuck cilantro. Fuck rosemary. Fuck thyme. Fuck any and all fragrant aromatics. I don't eat potpourri.

Nothing worse than going to a Mexican restaurant with a group & order tableside guacamole, and one person “just can’t stand” cilantro. So the rest of us have to suffer and eat cilantro-free guac.

I like a little, definitely adds something but people go nuts and put way too much on everything.

Also had no idea that they were the same plant.

Cilantro does not belong in guacamole.

Indifferent? It doesn't have a strong taste to me. Don't love it. Don't hate it.

I am weird in that I hate the taste of cilantro but it doesn't taste anything like soap to me. I must have some other weird genetic issue that isn't as common. It tastes more like vomit to me.

Ginger tastes strongly like soap to me though but cilantro is nothing like it.

Don't hate it but some places put it in food way to much till it's all you can taste.

Love it when it’s lightly garnished , don’t like it when it’s packed on like a bed of lettuce

This. Wtf, let's retry this:

"nothing worse than someone who requests 'extta cilantro!' or really any customization to something a group will be sharing"
