Black Doug -

I am still surprised at the lack of dicks spray-painted on those walls, Brother.

Happy Valentines Day, Brother.

No Homo, Brother.

Maybe a little homo, Brother.

They don't want the homeless jacking all over the walls brother. I think you're either way ahead or way behind that trend. According to tehOG we could have gone to the movies tonight as Bros and totally not been ghey, hilarious. Love you brother.

FUCK ATC THIS.... is a place I won't dry snitch myself  out on lol...

I heard they got wrecked outside a punk show years back? Tell us how you really feel, brother.

I feel like that was one of our main enemy hoods. We went from Taggers to tagbangers to surenos all because we couldn't squash beef with each other and wanted to cross each other out in the RTD. They wanted to jock 18 we wanted to jock Harpee's . Now I got a bunch of dead friends over stupid shit and we're our own sets and I'm a born again whiteboy chillin in Burbank talkin bout it instead of in county eating Bologna sandwiches.

I moved to van nuys in 1986. Lived in studio city and cold water and Ventura.

i was fully immersed in AA, so I misty stayed out of trouble.i left in 92 and went back to DC.

i enjoyed LA and the valley immensely.

I won't speak for the brother on his attachment to whatever. ATC13 or alley tiny criminals is one of many tagbanger crews that grew from tagging crews and battled for supremacy in the early/mid 90's. Los Angeles is rich in history packed into a small timeline. It's a hard thing to explain but consider the amount of action a place like south LA saw in the wild 90's, that amount of activity packs history in very thin layers consisting of many events and happenings.

Their original name was Addicted To Crime. Most gangs that have Criminals or Tiny in them were tagging crews who had to awkwardly figure out a way to make their three initials work as a gang.

I have two. One I’m actually working on now is a historic novel about L.A. around the time of the Chinese Massacre and into the 1890s with some of the roots of what would become certain “Varrios” like Frogtown and Clover being examined. I’m scared people will get upset though when I shred Juaqin Murriettas image.

Second one I keep putting off is my insanely warped life that actually starts around 1986 with me taking the RTD up Ventura Blvd at 9 years old to a comic book store in studio city by the bowling alley and Jerry’s Deli that nomoromos talking about. That’s the one Andy Kaufman worked at as well. Then into skating, tagging, tag banging,Chris Blatchford Fox Undercover specials, Gangs, then into gyms in the late 90s and training to get away from that, but then ending up in Porn, strip clubs and mafia crap, and how I end up sitting out my Joint suspension talking shit on an off topic MMA forum...not sure it’s a big seller though...

so think I might just make it a comedy Podcast and maybe have some of the more famous graffiti guys and oddballs I know on it. Like an evil Forrest Gump type thing... call it life choices with JJ or some shit.

You mentioned that historic book in another one of my threads. I'd be interested in seeing some inserts of whatever you may have worked out so far. Start a thread and run some of those inserts through the members on here. If you keep it concise it'll likely help you down the road putting everything together. Be well brother.
