Spent the last couple nights with new old friends on the beach away from the city. I've missed the faster pace los Angeles provides. I love being able to walk out my hotel or friends house and just disappear into the crowd. Think I'll stick around for awhile longer. These things normally take a few weeks to work their way out my system. If the ich isn't gone in the next week or so I may move on towards Santa Barbara. Be well.

what do you do for a living?

Mostly retired now. I'll take work on occasion in a couple states. Mostly California. I cover crime in general. I have preferences in what I cover but I'll do this or that on occasion for former employers when I'm around. Sorry if I seem evasive but I've already decided what I will and won't share.

If you are local and are subbed here I'll probably post every so many days before I go to breakfast and you can feel free and join me and maybe I'll explain more. That goes for everyone that may stumble on this thread. No law enforcement please, waste of both our times. I'm already out hopefully I'll come back on as the night progresses. Be well.

Hey if you ever find yourself in Central Florida I will put you up, feed you, whip you off...standard Southern hospitality.  Would be a pleasure.

Had a fun night. I'll be posting a few pics soon. Last night had an all to familiar soundtrack. I'm debating on sharing the origin of this song being Incorporated into my night to night activities on some of my active nights. Years before it became my go to hurt song, my mom would sing it along with others while she kept house.

When I get home and develop all my film I'll likely post better versions of everything.

Grabbed a bagel with peppers and eggs at Western in Noho. The doily behind the counter insisted I try it with avocado and I obliged, it was good not incredible. Washed it down with a large orange juice with Some pulp. No breakfast with a charming bully today brohams.

I'm rolling with a couple Normandie og's to start the night. Absolute blast so far. It's so addictive. They picked me up at my hotel in Beverly and to say they got a few looks is an understatement.

What the. These are some serious L.A. ghettos. I've been to most and have lived near some. I grew up in East L.A. around Whittier Blvd and Eastern. Used to party in Pico in the 80s.

So, you are filming crimes for some kind of documentary or some shit? Sounds interesting.

And Nightcrawler is a great movie but you must watch the Netflix documentary "Shot in the Dark" afterwards for a real look at the real life freelance news video photographers.

Also are you going to the Inland Empire? Plenty of crime here lol.

Met a friend on the east side for drinks but that was pleasure not work. I've been tempted to hit San Bernardino but I have limited connections there and at this point my particular appetite in game is scarce there. Ten years ago if the crime had been at the levels it's at in present day East of the 15 I would have likely covered it for work.

Balcony shot from my air bnb in Denver 2 weeks ago. The rooftop had a bad ass view too.
