It's so cringey.................it's good.  The nostalgic snippets help the children of the 80's along as well.

Johnny will go to San Bernandino for his homies!

You know everytime Johnny walks into a bar, something awesome is going to happen.

Are you special needs or something?

Well my mom says Im on the spectrum.

I don't know what that is but get off it right now

Yes that was funny man.

There are moments I think this is modern day Bad News Bears meets a toned down Kenny Powers.

That's something I've noticed in the Karate Kid/Cobra Kai universe. Everyone goes directly from white belt to black belt if there is a tournament coming up.

I kinda felt bad for the dude he lifted it from. I mean, that guy probably needed it to compete later that day and the old bastard just swiped it from his bag.

I came in with low expectations and have been pleasantly surprised so far, lots of nods to the first film and a few laughs as well. Just finished EP4S1.

They need to get the bad guy from Karate Kid 3 in there somewhere.

When he called Miguel banging his gf "hide the plantain" I laughed hard.

Yeah, it's full on bad news bears.

Johnny and his army of nerds could be the whole show and I'd be totally entertained.

The show is fantastic, it's a little cheesy but nowhere near what some people are saying. I'm surprised I liked it as much as I did, I really loved it. A little too much bait and switch with Larusso and Lawrence, they seem to start  burying the hatchet and then immediately fly off the handle again, but it's well done.

It’s the ultimate fan-service while still being relevant to this generation.

Disney should study this approach for future marvel/Star Wars projects.

You can be respectful and accurate with source material and be relevant to gen z.

invalid - I'm enjoying the hell out of it after two episodes. It's self-aware, turns the 80s cheese up a notch, and is perfect. Exactly the kind of show I needed in 2020 haha

Yes! It’s definitely rehashing that 80s martial arts mentality. We’re about 4-5 eps into it. Daniel just turned one of his rooms into a tai chi studio and started doing the weird thing with his shoulders.

Also thoroughly enjoying it. Just finished the first season. Hoping Sato's nephew, Terry Silver, and Elizabeth Shue show up at some point in Season 2 or 3.

I knocked out both seasons in 3 days, at the end of every episode I found myself wishing it wasn't over yet.

Larusso's daughter might just have the prettiest eyes on Earth, wow

It is cheez-tastic................but it definitely grows on you if you saw the original movie in it's time.

I can't imagine liking Cobra Kai even a fuckin TINY bit if you weren't a fan of the movie.
