I'm pretty heavily invested in this election as I have bet a pizza on it with a crazy democrat friend.  He is full orangemanisbad and it's going to cost him a $5 9" pizza!

Dont see the appeal of Klobuchar to many. I thought she was a tear during the Kavanaugh bullshit, which was ALL bullshit.

I tend to watch people at times like that. She was a bulldog fighting for her partisan Dem side only. She didn't give a fuck about Kavanaugh or his family (or the truth that ford-blaisey is a fucking confused pepsi-swilling but). So, fuck her. I saw how she really is. No thanks.

Trump would destroy her anyway. Fuck, I love Trump. Love him. He is the best we will ever see.

Fo the US, having Trump as president is a lot like having Tom Brady reigning over the Patriots these past years. It's just winning, winning, winning. Glad the US can feel a similar vibe.

Don't have to love the man to love his policy though. That's what the never-trumpers need to see someday.

^Exactly.

Trump is a polarizing figure. Doesnt hurt that the media twists a lot of his statements. He doesnt do himself some favors though. Trump also doesnt believe on bad publicity so he's taking everything they are giving him and running with it.

The stock markets are very top heavy though and I dont agree with his statements on the underlying strength of the economy. I'd be a hypocrite to even suggest otherwise since I feel it's basically the same policy of liquidity injections through the federal reserve and corporate welfare as the last admin.

I do think he is trying to fix it. I think he needs another 4 years to get it done but I'll wager the economy tanks at some point along the way.

the repub debates I remember were def "Crazy" but not in the same way as these DNC debates have been "Crazy"

DNC debates was more cringe inducing, eye rolling type craziness, with a bunch of seemingly wackos on stage

the Repub debates were like a comedy skit with a bunch of different characters

I must be lucky.  We never talk politics.   And if anyone does they literally get boo’d.  It’s hilarious.

Anyone think someone other than bernie will have the most delegates?

I dont really think Bernie will have a chance in the general election.

Him openly knowing he was cheated out of the nomination and then endorsing that same person later leaves him open to criticism. I think it shows he doesnt have much of a backbone and can still be put in line.

And him going from debt to 3 mansions since 2015 is not a good look either. I understand they cashed in a pension and perhaps a few other things but perception is key. Not a good look for such a large increase in assets for a supposed socialist to be accumulated in such short time even if accumulated in an ethical manner.

One could easily misconstrue those 2 events as directly related.

Yea a friend of mine is a Democrat that hates the far left but hates Trump even more.  We are both moderates but I lean right and he leans left.   Both of us abstained from voting in 2016 because of a lack of viable candidates.  I'm voting for a Dem in the primaries (probably Tulsi) but will likely vote Trump in the general election.  The positives for Trump outweight the negatives.  One of those positives is he isn't one of the Democrats promising insane policy changes.   But because I won't abstain again or vote Democrat in the general election, he is furious with me and we barely talk lol.

Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Amy Klobuchar, Michael Bloomberg, Tom Steyer, and Pete Buttigieg have qualified for the February 25 debate, and will appear on stage.

Notably, while Steyer appeared in the first February debate, and did not meet the required threshold for the second, he will participate in the third debate on Tuesday. Tulsi Gabbard has yet to qualify for any February debates, but is continuing to campaign.

what's even crazier is that as much as I hate Hillary, the 2016 version of her is much more reasonable than almost all of the candidates today.  She basically ran on the fact that she was a woman and it was her turn.  But she wasn't promising open borders, free healthcare for illegals, shutting down deportations, federally funded sex changes for trans felons, and free college.

The Klobuchar appeal is that she is really the only moderate on the stage that isn't gay or senile. She's a woman and doesn't have the charisma or personality, so she'll never win though.

I'm interested to see if Bloomberg comes out attacking Bernie (or the others finally attack Bernie).

PREDICTION: Trump wins the second Democratic Debate in a row.
