interesting. i'd imagine dominion bowed out because the DHS already settled the matter and this is political theater? dominion didn't no-show, they pulled out of today's hearing last night. i'm listening to the legislators making these speeches. so far they've all been republican.

Government, experts agree: There were no deleted or changed votes, including by Dominion
A national coalition announced Thursday that there is no evidence that any voting software deleted or changed votes in last week's election, per USA TODAY.

In fact, the security group — which includes the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the National Association of State Election Directors — described the election as "the most secure in American history."

"There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised," the coalition concluded.

More:Fact check: False claim that deceased Michigan man voted in 2020

It added that all states with close results have paper records of each vote that allow for a recount, if necessary.

"This is an added benefit for security and resilience," the coalition wrote. "This process allows for the identification and correction of any mistakes or errors."

CISA Director Chris Krebs also retweeted a message from election law expert David Becker that condemned "wild and baseless claims about voting machines," according to CBS News.

Edward Perez, an election-technology expert at the OSET Institute, a nonprofit that studies voting infrastructure, told the New York Times that claims about Dominion voting machines are "misinformation at best and, in many cases, they’re outright disinformation."

“I’m not aware of any evidence of specific things or defects in Dominion software that would lead one to believe that votes had been recorded or counted incorrectly," Perez said.

Usually PSL would have posted something worthless with randomly capitalized letters in the top 3 comments.

Hope he’s OK.

They didn't.

Dominion is likely preparing to file lawsuits against several parties in regards to defamation, especially since there is noise about severing contracts and not using their machines even though DHS has said the election was the most secure in history.

The Pennsylvania House State Government Committee is dominated by GOP goons who hold the majority.

This isn't a "fact-finding" session so much as it is a GOP committee trying to smear a company because their candidate lost.

They don't need to.

Trump's own DHS has confirmed this election was the most secure in history.

Leadership from all 50 states (including GOP states) confirmed to the NYT that there is no evidence of systemic fraud or irregularities in their elections.

You have Republican states and the federal government both saying the election went smoothly. Why would they have to put out a statement?

Again, they are likely going to sue more than a few people if these lies and smears end up hurting them financially.

It is a Republican-majority committee.

This isn't a serious hearing.

Why would Dominion have representatives show up and indulge in Sidney Powell's conspiracy theories?

Oh, I understand that.

Was just curious if they had issued a statement. Not that it matters to any of these trolls.
