I’m a CCW holder and a support gun rights wholesale.

But, based on the video we have which cuts off early, the shooter must go to jail in this instance. Of course, if McGLOCKton further approached the shooter after the push then the shooting is justified, but I highly doubt he walked toward the gun’s barrel.

"I’m a CCW holder and a support gun rights wholesale." yeah, sure you do faggot.

lol at obvious libturd shill....

You seem stable today.

First time I’ve ever been called a libtard...usually I’m accused of being a Trumpet.

CCW is a responsibility, this guy was instigating a confrontation and got checked. According to the video his life was in no danger and he could have easily escorted himself away from the situation without pulling the trigger. Like I said, if McGLOCKton moved towards him at all after the vid cuts off then I’ll allow it.

Bitch made pussy ass mark. A CCW holder with his weapon provokes an issue over a parking spot and can’t get it from the shoulder so he shoots and kills a man.

Don’t get into a confrontation with someone because they park in a handicapped spot. Especially don’t create a confrontation over a handicapped parking spot when you’re carrying your fuckin gun.

He didn't provoke an issue. The person who parked in the handicap spot is the person who provoked and started the issue.

Wrong, hes not a cop. He can fuck off. Or call the cops thats it

The article says that the woman "wasn't handicapped." Did she have a tag for parking in such a spot? Not all handicaps are visible.

I live in Pinellas County and was just watching an update with the Sherrif.  They are calling it a good shoot and the shooter will not be charged.

I  have no problem with him telling somebody that they shouldn't park there but nothing ever good usually comes from doing something like that.  I also am all for the stand your ground law but this seems premature in my opinion.  The guy pushed him to the ground and doesn't appear to move in at all....more like a "what bitch!?" kind of thing.  The "victim" then pulls out his pistol and shoots him whereas I feel that he could have safely given the dude a chance to turn around and leave as he was posing zero danger from that distance with a gun pointed at him.

I'm guessing this isn't over yet regardless of what the Sherrif says...Trayvon was on top of a guy, smashing his head into the ground and we all saw how that turned out.  I'm assuming that Jesse and Al will be landing at any minute.

"Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said Friday that the facts are clear; McGlockton violently shoved Drejka to the ground and Drejka feared for his life. Because of that, he is covered under Florida's Stand Your Ground law.

Sheriff Gualtieri said the sheriff's office doesn't make the law, they just enforce it.

"Just because you can, doesn't mean you should," he said. "This case may be an example of that."

Prepare yourself for a blitz of sensationalistic media coverage that will continue non-stop for months.

"The case will now go to the State Attorney's Office."

I started to wonder if the Sheriff had the power to say who and who will not be charged. Ultimately it's going to be up to the State.

I've had many people yell at me for parking in handicapped parking. I have disabled plates, so a lot of them were looking for a placard. Funniest thing is I move like a 90 year old retired NFL player and have an orthotic visible on my leg. The best one was some old twat that said I was "too tan" to be disabled.  Fuck you, you old bitch, I am not a monster!

dabigchet - and another thing, can we stop this charade with all handicapped spots being absolutely sacred all the time? if there are multiple handicapped spots open, there is no moral problem with occupying one of them for a short period of time.

It's for people that can't walk long distances. If you can walk long distances, why park there regardless of the availability?  You must also think the painted lines beside them are there so motorcyclists have a place to park too.

i'm not saying you should park there. i am just saying there is no moral problem with standing in one, like they were, so long as another handicapped spot just as good or better was still vacant.

are we holding them all open for handicapped ghosts or something?

The car was parked in one. The $300 fine says your wrong. Where do you guys get your bro law degree from? Do they offer refunds?

He’s talking about it not being inmorale to take a handicapped spot if it’s not keeping a handicapped person from using it. You’re speaking of the literal law.

An easier way to put it is, it’s not immoral to drive 5 mph over the speed limit on the freeway if you aren’t endangering Others as a result. Your position would be “it’s illegal; the law says so” and again you guys would be arguing different points.

There were a couple of seconds after the push where the shooter could have decided not to shoot (yet).   Looked to me like he didn’t have to pull the trigger.   But I support gun rights and if the law says he’s good then that’s fine.  I just hope he can live with himself.

On another forum, some asshole once went on a rant about how he saw a Viper parked in such a spot and he couldn't accept that one could be disabled and drive a Viper.

Some people with MS could be having a good day, but then all the sudden they're all fucked up. They often get called out for parking in such spots.

The sheriff's department decided that it was self defense and didn't arrest him or charge him with anything at that time but I'm sure the State Attorney's Office can decide differently and based on the video, I think there's a good chance that they will.

Nevada law is if your fearing for your life , use it. Instructor even said if the person is twice your size or bigger and your in fear, you can fire in self defense. I myself was shocked when he told us that.

This is a net good. Hood thug killed trigger happy moron locked up

Why is he a hood thug? For shoving someone who was giving his girlfriend a hard time? That makes him a hothead,  but not a "hood thug."

I guess black hothead = hood thug to you.

Physical disparity is one of many factors to take into account. Being knocked to the ground is another because you’re more vulnerable when it happens. However, based on that video, and that video alone, without the audio, that was a bad shoot.

Total Pussy. Harassing the dude's lady over a parking violation.

Who appointed this guy to police the parking rules at 7-11 anyway?

The guy pushed him once and backed away.  There was no assault in progress so no reason to shoot.  It seems like the guy was just a racist looking for an excuse to blow a black dude away.  He should do serious time.

I agree. Too bad it doesn't show the rest of the video, its possible the big dude got crazy and stepped forward or rushed him

Here's the uneditied video that they showed during the press conference.  All of the news channels immediatley cut away and won't show the actual shot but here it is along with the entire pc.   The footage starts around the 6:40 mark

BJ Penn Forever - Honestly both dudes were out of line, normal people don't approach strangers about parking in handicapped spots, normal people don't push people to the ground who are bitching about parking in the spot and normal people damn sure don't commit murder after being pushed.

I do believe the headline said this was in Florida.

Es normal
