I looked around and couldnt find any Ral stuff for you. It looks like HK Haus is taking backorders on their V2 grips so you should get it in 4-6 weeks.

Backordering the the selector may be your best bet

Also you can add yourself to the MGW notifications. They are my next go to behind brownells.

Ok picture time. Sorry for the delay

Here are the selector colors for you to see. I havd  demilled real hk416 to compare the real deal. Top picture is the Brownells pictogram color which is way darker. The bottom is a brownells after I scraped and refilled with modeling paint. I included a pic of the paint names if you want to do the same. The second pic came out shitty.

Here is a pic of the difference between Ral8000 (bottom) and Ral7008 (fde). The 7008 covers is what brownells is currently selling and I actually like it more than the 8000.

Has anyone found Geissele triggers? Seems like there are some on Brownells UK site, but it looks like rape rape.

They are hens teeth these days. I gave up and went with ALG instead. Here is a list of known triggers that work

Still want the Geissele though -- have you been able to try both?

Gas block came in today. Which sucks, because I paid for 2 day AM delivery last Wednesday at Hurricane-Butterfly -- their excuse was that they were in training on Thursday...

Also the way they packed the part is by far the worst I've seen so far, where the gas block was actually loose and rolling around inside.

Nope. I have not tracked down a geissele.

For some reason I wanted to try the Wilson Combat next, but I'll follow your advice and track down a ALG. You think it's safe to buy that one from Optics Planet?

No refund, and so far no reply to the email I sent.

Thoughts on these carbon fiber handguards?

Lancer has designed a lightweight, carbon fiber handguard to replace the HK® OEM handguard, reducing total component weight by almost 25% on both the HK416 and MR556 platforms. The proprietary carbon fiber layup and resin combination provide a structure that not only resists the heat associated with high volume firing but which is also rigid enough to stand up to heavy use. M-LOK™ compatible cooling slots provide ample mounting options for various mission-specific accessories.

^^Reading through the forums, it seems that Troy offers a fully CF option (that is sold the fuck out), whereas the Lancer version is not fully CF.

Also update regarding Hurricane-Butterfly -- they offered to refund the difference in shipping, and to replace the part. I'm thinking to just keep it, but would the part be compromised if everything is fine except for some scratching on the edges?
