My friend recently discovered that her 25 yeat old uncommunicative autistic son is a savant.

Like Rainman smart. Like photographic memory.

They had a breakthrough in communication.

She thought he had a 40 IQ. Turns out to be closer to 200.

Can do cube roots of 9 digit numbers instantaneously in his head.

Super weird.

What’s the fifth derivative of the distance equation?

That's not real math question.

Math is with numbers, so WHY are there letters and squiggles in there?

Fake math.

I can honestly say you are right. I might have does something like this at some point. Not in great detail, and would have been 20+ years.

What is the math for? Integrals being used to find?

I'm stuck on this, and honestly will be for a while. You guys go on, I'll catch up later. (if I don't go insane)

Is that true? That's crazy. And it's crazy that for 24+ years she had no idea?!

Nice try but no, OP. I have 6 fingers on each hand! Extra toes, too!

My oldest boy has Aspergers. In 7th grade they wanted to have him do distance learning from John Hopkins. Now he does R&D Cybersecurity stuff (working with white hat hackers). His hands move so fast over a keyboard it makes me dizzy.

It would make a great plot to a movie.

We could call it

“The girl in the spiders web”
