I have zero interest in this hobby, but that’s amazing. Interesting to see as well.

I’ve always liked one-liners. That’s why I’m a fan of monorails.

No, never.  I am a bit ashamed to admit that I would love to go there though, looks very interesting.  Always loved this stuff since sitting with my grandpa as he worked on his train set.  Thanks for the link!

No I have not but would really get into it if I could. First saw it when watching a documentary on the band XTC, then went down the rabbit hole to research it.

Amazing. It would've been cool if the cam zoomed out at the end to show the actual size relative to the people and space around it.

They're mine from when I was a kid. 90% are from the late 50s - a few I added (new to me) in the last 10 years. It's in my cellar and no I'm not in any club, just some FB groups.

Here's a better link to a video I took on a rainy day.

That's pretty cool!

Yeah I think I can see you're using an old control box, I have some relatively old ones from my grandad but they are only from the 80's.

Looks like you have a nice set-up, lots of hours goes into something like that so I can definately respect that.  Thank you for sharing that.

I love the idea of making my own set-up again, I have a lot of old houses, props, lights, tracks, cars, engines etc etc laying around so I wouldn't have to buy much.  I really just enjoy doing the research and learning/building moreso than actually using the things I make.  Once the project is complete I lose a lot of interest, which is why I haven't done it yet.

Maybe in retirement, when I need to fill my time.  I def wouldn't mind playing with yours though (Beep)

I’ve been meaning to make a list of bad railroad puns…but I keep getting side tracked.
