HTMNDN - the gay stuff was in the original book. they actually cut a gay hand job scene from the first part of the book out in part 1.

https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/films/1174667/it-chapter-two-gay-characters-true-story-homophobic-attack-LGBT-pennywise

its kings book he wrote it that way.

the gay stuff was in there back in 1986 when it came out. and he was working on it for a few year prior so you are just now watching a movie that seems to be sjw but is actually over 35 years old.

What would be really fucked up is if Pennywise were gay...

Wait, someone is surprised that king fag Stephen king wrote about fags being fags?

Has anyone here actually read any of his books? They're 95% lovingly crafted descriptions of dicks, and 5% child porn.

Wtf did you expect?

The was no gay sshit between Ritchie and Eddie. They insinuated Eddie might be gay, but thats about it.

Just read spoiler for the ending of this. Typical Hollywood SJW, throwing shit in where it doesn't belong. Ritchie wasn't gay in the book, but they turn him gay for the movie? Why? To satisfy the gay mafia in Hollywood.

If they wanted to make these movies realistic, the other boys would be ranking out the gay kids and beating the shit out of them on a regular basis. I can live with the whole "clown in the sewer" bit, but not two gay kids in the 80s being accepted by their peers. Absolute SJW bullshit.

Hollywood is so fucking fake.

All the gayness aside the movie didn’t need to be 2 hours and 50 fucking minutes. Same story could have been told in 90.

Pennywise IS gay. He’s a metaphor for gay. Look into it.

Bro I don’t want to alarm you... but you might be a little gay when you’re drunk.

Thought it was pretty good but was also 30 minutes too long and not scary at all. All the jump scares were obvious and the gross-out stuff was fine but most was borderline bad CGI. Enjoyed the jokes and casting was solid.

The end was a little confusing in terms of making Pennywise "feel small", but I never read the book so maybe it makes more sense if you have. Was surprised the group who attacked the gay couple were never seen again. Expected them to meet their demise at some point.

Its actually the beginning of the book from the remember, showing pennywise wake up and take his first victim. Only part is missing is the cops saying he never saw anything.

I didnt pick up on any of the Richie/Eddie gay stuff when I saw it. I just thought they were closer because they were bros that were constantly giving each other shit. Didnt know about the gay angle until I saw it here

I liked it. Nice wrap up of the story. Thought a lot of the dialogue missed and felt unnatural, especially the jokes. It was all jump scares, but I felt they were done really well. Some felt unique to me. Like it was different than I've seen before There was some bad CGI (chinese restaurant) and some great CGI in other parts.

I liked felt the ending was good. They took away Pennywise's power by not being afraid of him. Same thing they tried as kids, but it failed miserably then because there were people that were still afraid, even though they were pretending to be brave. That's why Stanley suicides himself. They could never have won with him there. I'm thinking they wouldn't have won if Eddie lived too not a bad ending at all. I liked it

Poignent, powerful opening scene depicting the current political climate of Trump's America LMAOOOOOOOO

That was ridiculous.  Seems like more of a 1960s reaction to seeing gay dudes kiss in public.  Like oh look obvious rednecks....super dumb.

Phaedo - Here's a spoiler: the movie fucking sucked. There wasn't one scary moment in the whole three hours. It was more like a bad action movie than a horror movie; they're always running away from some huge shit like Indiana Jones. And the attempt at comedy was embarrassing. The "jokes" were painfully predictable and usually mis-timed; if there had been anything scary in the movie, the lame jokes would have ruined it. And then all the over-the-top melodramatic shit at the end. Seriously, that was a terrible movie. I have a seriously hard time understanding the mind of anyone who enjoyed that.

I agree with this review more than I want to.....i need to give the movie another chance due to all the talking assholes in the theater.
